Horseman’s Sunday also takes place in London on the third Sunday in September. The vicar of St John's Church rides in on horseback to bless about 100 horses. He then leads a cavalcade of horses and riders to the church to celebrate horse riding in the heart of London. At noon the horses begin to arrive in procession, lining up along the forecourt of the church and on Hyde Park Crescent for a blessing, before taking part in a ride-past and a presentation of rosettes. Enjoy a long weekend over the Summer Bank Holiday (Aug. 27 in most parts, Aug. 6 in Scotland). During the holiday, find a moment to enjoy In a Nutshell. Brush up on your history by returning to the Battle of the Boyne, then keep reading to learn how to make your Internet searches easier. Next, stop by Treehouse Games to unscramble summer. Then it’s on to Treehouse Trivia to reveal your purpose and life and the source of true power.
